Hina Matsuri at Tawarayama Onsen

On March 1 (Friday), the lobby of Hakusaru no Yu, a hot spring resort in the Tawarayama area, was decorated with hina decorations for the Tawarayama Onsen Hina Matsuri (Doll Festival).

A cute information panel is placed in front of the stairs leading up to the "Shirasaru no Yu" (White Monkey Bath).

Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted by many hina decorations surrounded by red and white curtains.

The seven-tiered doll decorations have a strong presence, making the wooden warmth of the lobby even more glamorous.

Hina decorations will be in place until Sunday, the 24th of this month. After soaking in the hot spring, you will have one more thing to look forward to.

Enjoy food for a limited time only

During the period, "Petit Ohagi Set" will be available in the lobby as a limited menu.

Two kinds of o-hagi, one with red bean paste and the other with soybean paste, tea and pickles. It is a "Japanese" combination that fits the atmosphere.

The taste of spring will make your cheeks smile as you look at the hina decorations.

When you leave "Shirasaru no Yu", you will see the former "Kawanoyu" diagonally across the street.

As related events, zenzai (Japanese sweet red bean soup) and shishi-nabe (shishi-nabe hot pot) will be sold on the 3rd (Sun) and 10th (Sun) of the month, respectively.

There will also be a "Dance Party" on Sunday the 10th at Onsenkaku, located up the stairs from by the Tawarayama Onsen "Machinoyu", where you can enjoy ballroom dancing. Please enjoy Tawarayama Onsen with hina decorations and local food, and feel the arrival of spring.
