Note: Congestion around Motonosumi Shrine is expected during the 6/10 Mukozugu Double Marathon.

June 10 (Sun.): Due to the Mukou Tsugu Double Marathon, congestion is expected on that day.

Many visitors are now coming to Motonosumi Shrine in Nagato City, causing traffic congestion on the surrounding roads. Especially on weekends, it sometimes takes more than one hour to enter the parking lot from the shrine area. Please take this traffic congestion into consideration when coming to the shrine.
Please do not park on the streets in the vicinity of the shrine, as this will cause further traffic congestion. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and ask for your cooperation.

In order to alleviate this traffic congestion, we will also be closing the area around the shrine to vehicular traffic as follows. Thank you again for your cooperation.
