Regional travel" offering tour programs that are "unique to a particular city

Regional travel," in which local communities take the initiative in promoting their local attractions, has been attracting attention in recent years as a new form of tourism.
In Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, an initiative to create "Nagato Machitabi Collection," a new regional travel experience with citizen and business participation, is also underway with the aim of "strengthening hospitality through citizen cooperation.
How can we revitalize local communities through tourism and how can we entertain our guests?　Mr. Masateru Yamashita, the organizer of "Kurume Machitabi Expo," a popular town trip program in Kurume, Fukuoka, will be invited to give a lecture.
Admission to the lecture is free and no advance registration is required. Please feel free to attend!
