On Saturday, June 18, 2008, the first event of the Nagato Yacht Festa, "Seine Net Experience School," was held! In this issue, we closely follow this event! The event was held on the beach near the mouth of the Fukagawa River, which has very beautiful ocean colors. ? First, the fishermen set the seine nets in the sea. Then, everyone pulled the net together from both ends, this time with the participation of the local baseball team! ?Everyone tries to touch the fish, squid, and octopus that were taken. They seem to be having fun with the suckers sticking to them. Everyone brings the fish to the chefs! Everyone can observe and ask questions as they are processed by local professional chefs! First, sashimi and fried fish! The number of chopsticks is amazing! In no time at all, they were sold out.... Furthermore, miso soup of tsumire and soup of ara were also completed! The tsumigire was fluffy, and the soup stock from the ara was very good. After eating a meal, take a break.... There are many picturesque scenes, such as baseball boys drying out their military gloves and sandals that have been taken off. At the end of the day, we will clean up the beach that you have helped us with today. It is more beautiful than when we came! Thanks to all the participants for their hard work.
The next event was the Fishing School!
