Subsidized Accommodation for JR Mine Line Use

Fiscal Year 2008 JR Usage Promotion Measures Project for Fiscal Year 2008 Subsidy for Accommodation on JR Mine Line

This project aims to increase the use of the JR Mine Line and the time spent in Nagato City. Subsidies will be provided to domestic travel agencies that offer tours to Nagato City that include boarding and alighting at any station on the JR Mine Line and staying at one of the five famous hot springs in Nagato Onsen Hot Spring Resort.

Eligibility for Application

In the case of a tour for which a sales-type plan is adopted

A travel agency registered under Article 3 of the Travel Agency Law (Law No. 239 of 2015) and approved for Type 1 Travel Agency or Type 2 Travel Agency registration, tour planning and development part.

In the case of arranged tours

A travel agency registered under Article 3 of the Travel Agency Law (Law No. 239 of 2015), and a travel agency registered under Class 1 to Class 3 travel agency registration.

Application Requirements

Itinerary

When planning a two-day and one-night tour or a three-day and two-night tour or longer, one night must be spent at one of the five Nagato Onsenkyo hot spring resorts. However, the accommodation subsidy will be limited to one night at one of the Five Famous Hot Springs in Nagato City.

Setup period

From April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017

3. total number of applicants

2,000 (1,500 at Nagato Yumoto Hot Springs, 300 at Tawarayama Hot Springs, 100 at Aburayawan Hot Springs, 100 at Yumen Hot Springs)

4. the number of participants for each company and tour

As a general rule, the total number of applicants per company during the period must be between 30 and 300.

5. contents included in the travel plan

(1) Take the JR Mine Line and get on or off at any Mine Line station in Nagato City. (2) Stay one night at one of the five famous hot spring resorts in Nagato Hot Spring Village. (3) Stay one night at one of the five famous hot spring resorts in Nagato City.In order to stay for more than 2 hours of sightseeing time, the following conditions must be metNagato City1 paid sightseeing spotAt least one of the sites must be included in the tour itinerary.(Kaneko Misuko Memorial Museum, Whale Museum, Yasuo Kozuki Museum of Art, Murata Seifu Memorial Museum, Qinghai Island Tourist Steamship, etc.) ・ Nagato City1 free sightseeing spotAt least one of the sites must be included in the tour itinerary.(Aomi Island Nature Trail, Senjojiki, Mt. Myokenzan Observation Park, Yanggi-no-Sato, Danei-ji, Noman-ji, etc.) *Conditions (1) through (3) above must be satisfied. ** However, the above 3) is not required for tours that use the Shinkansen and Mine Line, or for tours that offer rail & stay for individuals. (This tour must include a JR ticket and accommodations at one of the five famous hot springs in Nagato Onsenkyo.)

6. submission of implementation report

Please submit an implementation report after the implementation of the trip. （Payment of the accommodation subsidy will be made by bank transfer by the end of the month following the month of implementation.

Accommodation subsidy

1,000 yen per visitor x actual number of visitors* However, this subsidy cannot be duplicated with the subsidies offered by Nagato City and Nagato City Tourism & Convention Association.
