Thank you very much for those who visited the temple. If you were not able to see the flowers this year, please come next year if you have a chance. 
About 3,000 hydrangeas are planted at Koutokuji Temple.

The main deity is Shakyamuni Buddha. Originally called Mukotsu-an, the temple was renamed Mukotoku-an after the merger with Kaitoku-ji in 1903, and was renamed Mukotoku-ji in the Showa period (1926-1989).The temple is also known as "Hydrangea Temple," and is famous for its hydrangeas.
