A safety prayer ceremony and pool opening was held at the Nanae River Pool!
On July 20, 2016, the safety prayer ceremony was successfully completed and the pool was opened. After the safety prayer ceremony, local elementary school students caught ayu (sweetfish), and the energetic voices of the children filled the air.
Nanae River (Shichjugawa) River Pool
Tawarayama Shichidan-no-taki River Pool is located near Shichidan-no-taki Falls, a scenic spot on the Nanae River. The pool is filled with clear water from which fireflies fly and filtered by a large amount of charcoal, a specialty of the Tawarayama area, so that even those who do not like chlorine can enjoy it without worry. The pool for toddlers is shaped like a cute monkey and has a slide. This pool is full of ideas for safe swimming in a wonderful natural environment.
