A safety prayer ceremony was held at Qinghai Island Beach!

Aomi Island Beach is located in the center of Kita-Nagato Kaigan National Park in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, in the San'in region, on the Sea of Japan coast. Because of its gravel beach, the Qinghai Island Beach is not prone to sand roll-up, boasts a stable high level of transparency, and has been selected as one of the "100 best beaches in Japan. Although facing the Sea of Japan, the topography of the beach is bay-shaped, and the shallow waters and relatively gentle currents make it an easy swimming beach, where plankton and fish are plentiful, and cute underwater creatures can also be encountered! The Qinghai Island Beach also has a campground, bungalows, and barbecue tables, so you can enjoy yourself while staying overnight. It is also famous as one of the best diving spots in Japan, attracting many divers throughout the year.

  From the Qinghai Island beach, visitors can enter the Qinghai Island Nature Trail, also known as the "Maritime Alps," where they can see numerous oddly shaped rocks and monstrous artworks such as sheer cliffs and stone pillars carved out by nature.
