I am Muranaka from the Tourism Division. Just the other day it was warm, and I was caught off guard thinking that spring had already arrived, but last night we had a wind storm, and a cold wind at that! Today, it feels like we are back to winter. It was cold rather than cold. It seems that it snowed and piled up on the Sanyo side, but it didn't snow in Nagato City on the San'in side, which was a relief at least! I am sure that today, March 10, was the anniversary of the death of Misuzu Kaneko, so the heavenly deities must have taken care of us. Still, I wondered how long this cold weather would last, and then I looked at the weather forecast, and it looks like the maximum temperature will be rising rapidly starting tomorrow, so spring will be here soon! So today, I would like to recommend some of the most spectacular spots to visit this spring as well. Although the days become hazy in spring, beautiful sunsets can be seen, so for those who like to watch the sunset, it seems that we are entering a season of fun. For those who love to watch the sunset, this is one of the best sunset viewing spots in Nagato. That is the view of the sunsetfrom the Qinghai Island Nature Study Path on Qinghai Island. Moreover, the mesmerizing view of the setting sun between two oddly shaped rocks in a place where oddly shaped rocks and monstrous stones, called the disguised procession, stand side by side, is truly impressive. However, as far as I went to check yesterday, it will be a little while before I can see the sunset between the two oddly shaped rocks.IMG_4106↑This is a photo taken yesterday. According to my research on a website for sunset angles, it seems that the sunset between the two oddly shaped rocks can be seen around the end of March to the end of the day. When that time comes, I will go back to take pictures to check it out. However, I still can't see the sunset between the two oddly shaped rocks, but I think the view is still impressive enough to attract a sunset! If you look at the pictures I took yesterday, March 9, you can get some idea of what I am talking about. LOL! Now, please take a look... ♪ IMG_4118  IMG_4131  IMG_4146  IMG_4163    If you have never walked along the Qinghai Island Nature Study Path, which I photographed this time, please see this page.
