On Thursday, April 16, Ms. Arina Okamura of Qinghai Island Kanko Kisen made her captain debut. Ms. Okamura joined Cheonhaishima Kanko Kisen in July 2014. Ms. Okamura is the first female captain of a Qinghai Island Kanko Kisen Kaisha vessel, and after a training period of about 9 months, she is sailing today. Ms. Okamura looks relieved after successfully completing her first voyage. In front of a large crowd of reporters, she expressed her aspirations, saying, "I want to be a captain who can communicate the charms of Qinghai Island while putting safety first and interacting with customers. The Cheonhaesima sightseeing boat offers a great view of the caves, stone pillars, and other powerful works of rock art created by nature from the sea.
