Fireflies "fall" on Shibuki at the Satomatsuri Festival

On Saturday, June 10, the Shibuki district will host the Shibuki Firefly Hometown Festival.

The "Firefly Hometown Festival" started as an event to commemorate the closing of the local Ohata Elementary School. Local people will gather to sell yakitori (grilled chicken), udon noodles, and other foods. Kitchen cars will also be set up, so everyone is welcome to come.
