Famous "Gotochi Yakitori" restaurants gather in Nagato

On August 24 (Sat.) and 25 (Sun.), the "Western Japan Yakitori Festival in Nagato," a gourmet event featuring famous restaurants from all over western Japan, will be held at the Yamaguchi Prefecture Fisheries Cooperative Minato Fish Market (Higashifukagawa, Nagato City).

Nagato City in Yamaguchi Prefecture is a production center of "Choshu-dori" (Choshu chicken) and "Choshu Kurokashiwa" (Choshu black Kashiwa), and has an agricultural cooperative specializing in poultry farming, the Fukagawa Chicken Farmers Cooperative, so the style of tasting skewers made of fresh chicken meat with salt is well established. We hope you will enjoy the comparison with the "Gotochi Yakitori" that will be served at the event.

In addition to the stalls offering local seafood and mountain delicacies, acoustic live performances and brass band performances are scheduled as stage events.
