The " Nagano Blue Ocean Ride," a cycling event scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020, will allow participants to enjoy "spectacular scenery" and "food" in the beautiful cobalt blue Sea of Japan on the San'in side of Yamaguchi Prefecture, the spectacular view points of the Higashi Gohata terraced rice fields, which have been selected as one of the 100 best terraced rice fields, and the vast and beautiful karst road at Akiyoshidai.
Entries will be accepted starting today, Tuesday, September 1, at 12:00.
Running through spectacular scenery from the mountains to the sea, this approximately 117km course is suitable for both beginners and experienced runners. Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, this year's event will be limited to residents of Yamaguchi Prefecture. In addition, there will be some differences from past events, such as the opening ceremony and the fact that all participants will not start at the same time in order to avoid any confusion. How to apply
Applications can be made online via "Sports Entry" or by postal transfer (first-come-first-served basis).
Applications will not be accepted after the maximum number of participants has been reached. If payment is received after the capacity has been reached, it will be refunded after deducting expenses related to the return.
*Prior membership registration (free of charge) is required to use Sports Entry.
*Participants are responsible for any fees or other expenses related to the application process.
