On Sunday, March 21, 2021, the "Nagano Blue Ocean Ride mini2021" cycling event will be held, starting and finishing at Senza Kitchen, a roadside station.

This is a short version of the Nagato Blue Ocean Ride held every November. This year, for the first time, the Blue Ocean Ride course will be in the Misumi and Hagi City areas.

In consideration of the infection situation of the new coronavirus, applications are accepted only from those who are "residing in Yamaguchi Prefecture at the time of application and on the day of the event. The application period is from 12:00 on Wednesday, February 10 to 24:00 on Sunday, February 28. For more information, please visit the event page here.

Date: Sunday, March 21, 2021 (rain or shine)

Roadside Station Senza Kitchen (4297-1 Senzaki, Nagato City)

Participation fee: 5,000 yen

Capacity: 80 people

Application period: February 10 (Wed.) 12:00 - February 28 (Sun.) 24:00 *First-come, first-served basis

Photo contest "Nagato Photo Cycling" will be held at the same time.

In conjunction with the "Nagato Blue Ocean Ride mini2021," a photo event called "Nagato Photo Cycling" will be held. This event is themed "Nagato Blue Ocean Ride mini" and invites participants to submit photos of the beautiful scenery on the course, bicycles, and interaction among participants (application period is from February 10 [Wed] to March 20 [Sat]). Anyone of elementary school age or older living in Yamaguchi Prefecture is welcome to participate, regardless of whether they are a participant in the "Nagano Blue Ocean Ride mini" or not. There will be prizes for the best entries!　Please see below for the application and how to submit photos.

Overview of Nagato Photo Cycling

The theme of the event is "Nagato Blue Ocean Ride mini2021".
・Participation application period: February 10 (Wed) to March 20 (Sat), 2021
・Submission period: March 21 (Sun) to March 27 (Sat), 2021 ・Participation fee/qualification: Free of charge/elementary school students and older residing in Yamaguchi Prefecture (junior high school students and under accompanied by a parent or guardian) ・Please submit up to 3 entries per person ・Please submit your entries by the deadline of March 27 (Sat) to March 21 (Sun), 2021
Entry fee/qualification: Free of charge/elementary school students and older residing in Yamaguchi Prefecture (junior high school students and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
・Prize: Up to 3 entries per person
・Prize: Grand prize: 1 prize of Nagato City specialties worth 10,000 yen ・Prize of excellence: 2 prizes of Nagato City specialties worth 5,000 yen
・ Announcement of prizes: The winning entry will be selected around the end of March, and announced on the Nagato City tourism site "Nanavi Announcement: The winning entries will be selected by the end of March and announced on the Nagato City tourism website "Nanavi.
