The world's first! Ping-pong tournament using "fish cake board". A great success!

This year marks the 900th anniversary of the appearance of kamaboko in the court banquet food sketches in 1115 during the Heian period (794-1185), and the "1st Senzaki Kamaboko Board Ball Tournament" was held with the racket replaced by a "kamaboko board" in order to introduce more people to Nagato City's specialty, "Senzaki Kamaboko". A total of 288 people from 144 pairs from inside and outside of the prefecture participated in the tournament. There were some heated games that were so high level that it was hard to believe that the rackets were made of kamaboko boards, and there were also some pairs who enlivened the tournament with fun costumes and performances, making it a very exciting event. We are looking forward to seeing many of you again next time. 1st place group] Winner ? ?
