Daneiji Temple in Nagato Yumoto, one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Nagato City, will be illuminated from March 18 (Sat) to coincide with the blooming of the cherry trees. As of today, the cherry blossoms are still in bud. However, the lights of the lanterns in the precincts of the temple will give you a good impression of the atmosphere. (The image above is from last year)cherry trees at eveningIt is still chilly at night, so it is recommended to dress warmly. Also, please be aware that it is dark underfoot in some places. (We recommend that you bring a flashlight or use a flashlight app on your smartphone.)
