Event Report] Thanks ONTO!

Sayosara once at Onyu, a Nagato Yumoto Onsen public bathhouse loved for many years!

Nagato Yumoto Onsen is the oldest hot spring in Yamaguchi Prefecture, having been in operation for approximately 600 years.
It is also famous for its divine hot water given by Sumiyoshi-daimyojin, the god Sumiyoshi.
In Nagato Yumoto Onsen, "Ontou," a public bathhouse that has been loved for many years, is to be demolished and rebuilt due to its aging.
Accordingly, the business closed once on May 17, 2017, and a "Thanks ONTO" event was held to express our gratitude.

On the day of the event, the area around Onyu was lit up, creating a photogenic atmosphere with a light theme and fireflies dancing in the air.
Locals and visitors alike enjoyed themselves together while watching Onyu.

The men's and women's baths in the Onyu were released, and the bathrooms of the opposite sex, each of which could not normally be seen, became footbaths, which were enjoyed by many.
A talk event called "Naga Talk" was held in the women's bathhouse, where Mr. Izumi, president of Heart Beat Plan, Ltd. who will be involved in the Nagato Yumoto hot spring revitalization project, spoke passionately.

Onyu will be demolished and rehabilitated in preparation for its opening in summer 2019!
