As of June 18, 2017, the rice has grown a little longer in the "Higashi Gohata Terraced Rice Paddies"!

Rice planting is almost complete, and the rice seedlings are doing well.
Some late rice planting, rice planting and watering has begun on the right side facing the sea.

What is Higashi Gohata Terraced Rice Field...

It is one of the most spectacular spots in the country where you can see terraced rice fields, fishing fires, and the sunset at the same time.
The best time to see the fishing fires and rice paddies is from late April to June each year.

Shooting conditions

On Saturday nights, when the weather is bad, there are fewer fishing fires because many people do not fish.
The fishing season begins in mid-May.
The reflection of the paddy field changes as the rice grows in stages from June onward.
After September, the fishing grounds gradually move offshore, and the fishing fires become more distant.
