Cycling in Qinghai Island

Recently, we held a cross bike experience, one of the bicycles available for rent at the tourist information center "YUKUTE"! We enjoyed cycling to Qinghai Island.

Cross bikes are a combination of off-road "mountain bikes" and on-road "road bikes," and are sporty bicycles that are comfortable to ride in town as well as on long distance rides.

On this day, each participant first adjusts his or her own saddle height and is taught how to pedal and turn the pedals.

The five bicycles will exit Senza Kitchen and continue northbound.

Cross the Qinghai Bridge and enter Qinghai Island.

Along the way, they admired the "buttercup (brush) tree," with its red brush-like flowers, and hydrangeas, which will be in season in the near future.

At the end of the tour, we stopped at "Nami no Hashidate" and took a rest on the beach.

We returned to the tourist information center "YUKUTE" again about 1 hour and 30 minutes after our departure.

The ride was a loop around Qinghai Lake, totaling about 11 km.
