The full moon reflecting the night sky full of sheep cloud on the terraced rice paddies, the fishing fire on the sea at Kawajiri, and the boat lights illuminating the horizon were a feast that one could hardly believe it was late at night. The scene of terraced rice paddies and fishing fires was similar to last month's, but the scenery in the moonlight was fresh and new to me. The unification of colors in this shot, which made full use of high sensitivity, was also good.■3 seats

The "Nagato Original Scenery" contest is open to any theme that best conveys the charm of Nagato City as a tourist destination (Nagato, a city that plays on the Japanese spirit of "Kindness"), including natural scenery, traditional culture, events, food, and more. Entries are open to anyone residing in Japan who can responsibly submit an original work that does not infringe on the rights or privacy of others. From the monthly entries, a monthly award, a runner-up, and three prizes will be selected, and finally, one grand prix will be selected from among up to three prizewinning entries each month.
