The front of the ticket features an illustration by Shingo Ozaki, an illustrator living in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and the back has a poem by Misuzu Kaneko printed on it, making it a bookmark.
The Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum is currently holding a special exhibition. The children's song poet Misuzu Kaneko wrote down the chatter of her beloved child Fusae, called Fuu-chan, in a notebook called "Nankin-dama. Some of them seem to have been uttered while looking at illustrations in magazines such as "Kodomo no kuni" (Kodomo no kuni). The exhibition will show illustrations of "Kodomo no kuni" that are related to Fuu-chan's chatter, and give us a glimpse of the love between mother and daughter that can be seen behind the illustrations. Dates: Wednesday, March 1 - Wednesday, May 31, 2017
