On Wednesday, July 10, the top program of the 2019 "Naga Trip" was held, "Tour to an Aquaculture Farm," which included a special seafood bowl. Participants, who came from as far away as Nagasaki Prefecture and exceeded the initial capacity, gathered at the meeting place, Senza Kitchen, a roadside station.
The guide for this program was Mr. Ando of Kaisendon Ajito (Ando Construction Co., Ltd.), located in the food court of Senza Kitchen. Departing from the roadside station, the group arrived at an aquaculture farm in Nohase, Misumi District.
In addition to 60,000 tiger puffer fish and 5,000 flatfish, the Misumi district aquaculture farm is home to the nationally rare "sea eel. We visited all 80 tanks in less than an hour while listening to the techniques and innovations of seawater aquaculture.
The participants were very interested and raised their hands one after another to ask Mr. Ando "Questions! One after another, hands were raised to ask Mr. Ando, "Question!
This program was held once before in November last year, and we were able to see juvenile tiger puffer fish that we could not see at that time. As the seasons change from fall to summer, we will encounter different discoveries.
Lunch was then served at Senza Kitchen, a roadside station, with a special kaisen-don (seafood bowl) at Ajito. In addition to fresh fish landed locally, the bowl is served with a luxurious portion of flatfish meat fresh from the field trip.
After "fun" comes "delicious.
