Tawarayama Onsen, a hidden hot spring deep in the mountains, is located in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is a lovely place with a retro Showa-era atmosphere and a hot spring resort area lined with ryokans. A two-day/one-night residential tour will be held by a local immigrant himself, who will show you the charm of moving to Tawarayama. You will have the opportunity to visit the stores and hear the stories of actual immigrants, and see what kind of vacant houses are available!
