Sumiyoshi Shrine
Ancient shrine associated with hot springs located at the end of the public bathhouse "Reiyu
An ancient shrine associated with hot springs located at the end of the public bathhouse "Reiyu". It is said that Yumoto Onsen was given to Sumiyoshi Myojin of Nagato Ichinomiya in gratitude for listening to a sermon given by Teian Zenji, the third generation abbot of Daneiji Temple, and that Sumiyoshi Myojin is enshrined near the onsen. The public bathhouses "Onyu" and "Reyu" are also named after this fact.
