The beach is named after the two Y's of YUYA (Yutani) and the wish that it will be a place where people gather together in a lively atmosphere. The calm waters of Aburatani Bay can be enjoyed, and the beach is crowded mainly with families.
It is conveniently located along National Route 191 in front of Igami Station on the JR Sanin Main Line.
