Special exhibition of Misuzu Kaneko Memorial Museum of Contemporary Art, “Transient Traffic as Seen through Poetry” is now being held (~7/21)

Deciphering the transportation situation from the late Meiji period to the early Showa period through the works of art.

A special exhibition, "Shifting Traffic through Poetry," is being held at the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum in the Senzaki district until July 21, 2024 (Sun.).

This is a special exhibition focusing on "vehicles" and "transportation" such as trains and automobiles that appear in Misuzu's poems.

While introducing poems in which vehicles appear, the exhibition also explains the development of transportation from the late Meiji period to the early Showa period, when Ms. Misuzu lived, with materials.
