Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum Special Exhibition: “The Revival of Misuzu: From the Danjō Harukiyo Collection”

Start/End Dates:March 7, 2026(Sat) ~ May 28, 2026(Thu)

Organizer: Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum

The Children's Song Poet Who First Compiled "Misuzu's Works"

Danjō Harukiyo was a children's song poet of the same generation as Misuzu, who compiled poetry collections of many poets active during the Taishō period. "Mayu to Haka" (Cocoon and Grave) was the first poetry collection to compile "Misuzu's works."
The exhibition displays materials from Danjō Harukiyo's collection, showing how young people in the Taishō period created "their own poetry collections," and the characteristics of Taishō-era children's songs that can be observed from these materials. Additionally, postwar materials document the trajectory leading to the completion of "Kaneko Misuzu Children's Song Collection: Mayu to Haka," including new discoveries made through the steady efforts of Danjō and his colleagues to preserve Misuzu's works.
Some materials will be available for viewing for a limited time only, so please take this opportunity to visit.
