Exhibition of 57 works from the "Siberia Series

From today (Thursday, July 4, 2024) to Sunday, August 25, the Yamaguchi Prefectural Museum of Art in Yamaguchi City is currently holding an exhibition entitled "Yasuo Kozuki's Siberian Series, 50 years after his death.

This is a special exhibition commemorating the museum's 45th anniversary, bringing together all 57 works of the "Siberia Series," representative works by Yasuo Kazuki, a Western-style painter from the Misumi district of Nagato City.

Today, the first day of the special exhibition, an opening ceremony was held followed by a gallery talk.

Tomorrow, July 5 (Fri.), "50 years after his death, Yasuo Kouzuki Exhibition: Second Phase 1955-1965" will start at the "Yasuo Kouzuki Museum of Art" in Misumi district, Nagato City. Please enjoy the exhibition together with the Siberia Series exhibition.
