Onyu” at Nagato Yumoto Onsen received the 2nd “Yudo Culture Award”!

Awarded for "cultural initiatives related to bathing

On Friday, November 24, 2023, the Yudo Culture Promotion Association announced the winners (6 groups of 8 people) of the 2nd "Yudo Culture Award" and "Onyu" from Nagato Yumoto Onsen received the award. The "Yudo Culture Award" was established by the Association for the Promotion of Yudo Culture to honor "cultural efforts related to bathing.

The award ceremony was held at the Daitokuji Shinjuan in Kyoto, and Mr. Kazuhiro Otani (co-chairman of Onyu), Mr. Hiroyasu Iwata (chief priest of Daneiji Temple), and Mr. Michio Naruse (chief priest of Nagatokuni Ichinomiya Sumiyoshi Shrine) attended from Nagato Yumoto Onsen.
