Special exhibition commemorating the museum's 30th anniversary

A day in the life of a whale catcher" is currently being held at the "Nagato City Whale Museum" in the Tori area of Aomi Island. This exhibition commemorates the 30th anniversary of the opening of the facility. The theme of the exhibition is "A Viewpoint of Whale Catching," which describes how the old-style whaling that flourished during the Edo period (1603-1867) was conducted.

The exhibition will be held until Sunday, March 31, 2024. Please come and see it.
