Yamaguchi Nagato Criterium” to be held in 2022 (Oct. 29)

Roadside Station Senza Kitchen Start!

On Saturday, October 29, the Yamaguchi Nagato Criterium will be held in the Senzaki district of Nagato City. A criterium is a type of bicycle road race in which riders compete for rankings by completing several laps of a relatively short course in a park or on a public road in the city center.
Professional athletes belonging to the Japan Cycle League (JCL) will participate in a starting ceremony at Senza Kitchen, a roadside station, followed by a parade through the Shiraigata area circuit course. The race is scheduled from 10:20 to 12:00. We look forward to your warm support.

Please cooperate with traffic control and congestion reduction

・8:00〜 No vehicles allowed
・10:00〜 No pedestrian crossing, etc.
・13:00〜 All traffic restrictions lifted

The scheduled traffic control time is a guide only and is subject to change depending on the progress of the competition on the day.
・About 60 competitors will pass through Senza Kitchen and around the Shiraigata area on the day.
・Substantial congestion is expected on the roads around the course. Please cooperate to alleviate congestion!
