The "Nagato Blue Ocean Ride mini" will be held again this year as a short version of the "Nagato Blue Ocean Ride with Akiyoshidai," which was held for the fourth time last November and received over 400 entries.
This year's Blue Ocean Ride is a 59-km course that offers a view of the Sea of Japan that lives up to its name, as well as a superb view of the Motonosumi Shrine, a shrine with a spectacular view that could not be included in this event due to traffic volume, and the Aburaya area and Mukozugu Peninsula of Nagato City, as well as an aid menu. On the return trip, participants will board a special "Cycle Train" from JR Hitomaru Station and enjoy a special time to enjoy the scenery from the train window along with bicycles.
Guest riders for the day will be Yuyu Shimizu, Junsuke Miyamoto, and Shohei Yasumoto from the Yamaguchi Branch of the Japan Cycle Riders Association.
