The Higashi Gohata terraced rice field at dusk as of August 7, 2017.
Due to the typhoon, thick clouds covered the sky throughout the day in Nagato City. However, at dusk, the sun shone through the thick clouds. It is truly "only nature" that shows us completely different expressions depending on the day.The rice in the paddies is growing well, and now the ears are gradually coming up.
What is Higashi Gohata Terraced Rice Field...
It is one of the most spectacular spots in the country where you can see terraced rice fields, fishing fires, and the sunset at the same time.
The best time to see the fishing fires and rice paddies is from late April to June each year.
Shooting conditions
On Saturday nights, when the weather is bad, there are fewer fishing fires because many people do not fish.
The fishing season begins in mid-May.
The reflection of the paddy field changes as the rice grows in stages from June onward.
After September, the fishing grounds gradually move offshore, and the fishing fires become more distant.
