The golden ears of rice are beautiful...

The clear autumn weather continues in Nagato. Both the sky and the sea are clear, and the recommended season for photography has arrived.
You can see the beautiful golden terraced rice fields and the cobalt blue of the Sea of Japan. The golden ears of rice in the Higashi Gobata terraced rice paddies are already ripe for harvest. We are already looking forward to harvesting the new rice.

What is Higashi Gohata Terraced Rice Field...

Higashi Gohata Terraced Fields
It is one of the most spectacular spots in the country where you can see terraced rice fields, fishing fires, and the sunset at the same time.
The best time to see the fishing fires and rice paddies is from late April to June each year.

Shooting conditions

On Saturday nights, when the weather is bad, there are fewer fishing fires because many people do not fish.
The fishing season begins in mid-May.
The reflection of the paddy field changes as the rice grows in stages from June onward.
After September, the fishing grounds gradually move offshore, and the fishing fires become more distant.
