There is no charge for guided tours.
However, only groups are charged 1,000 yen (please consult with us in advance if you wish to have a guide for your group or organization).
Model Course
◆Whale Culture Street Walk
This is a course to visit "Whale Culture" where it is said that the tenderness and sadness of Misuzu Kaneko's poem were greatly influenced by the "Whale Culture" of Tongura.
The tour guide will carefully explain the history of Dori, including the "Whale Museum," where 140 whaling tools from the Edo period are on display, the "Whale Tomb," where whale fetuses were buried, and the "Hayakawa Family Residence," the head of the Whale Team Net. (1)60-minute course

Aragami-sama] In the past, fires occurred one after another in Dori, so it was built to calm them down.
⇒The Jizo-sama that was not destroyed by a succession of fires is enshrined in the town of Dan. Dan...There is a wharf built by Mori clan 300 years ago.

The place where the ancestors of the Ikenaga family had seen in a dream and the sacred body of Sumiyoshi Shrine washed ashore there.
