Special exhibition “Misuzu’s New Year’s Exhibition” is now underway (~1/31)

New Year's through the Poetry of Misuzu

A special exhibition, " Misuzu's New Year's Exhibition, " is being held at the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum in the Senzaki district of Nagato City.

The theme of this year's exhibition is "New Year's.

Ten poems will be on display to show how New Year's Day looked like from Misuzu's point of view.

For example, what image comes to mind when you hear the word "New Year's Day"? Many people probably imagine the bustle of the New Year.

Symmetrically, Misuzu describes the loneliness caused by the hustle and bustle of the New Year, and the fact that the natural world is going about its daily life as usual through her poems.

Other poems in the book include "personification," one of the characteristics of Misuzu's poems, and poems that warm the heart, such as those in which we can feel Misuzu's gentle spirit.

In addition to exhibiting poems, "Explanation of Words" and "Introduction to Local Culture" related to the poems are also on display.

This is the first time for the museum to hold an exhibition on the theme of New Year's, so please take this opportunity to visit the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum.
