Inbound Response with National Interpreter Guides

On February 19 (Fri.) and 20 (Sat.), 2021, "Training for Strengthening Local Tourism Personnel's Inbound Response Capabilities" will be held at the Nagato City Shigoto Center under the supervision of the Japan Tourism Agency. In this training course, a national tour guide interpreter (a professional tour guide for foreign visitors to Japan) will be the instructor, and a practical curriculum that even language beginners can participate in will be provided, utilizing a variety of tools to prepare them to receive future inbound tourists.

In addition, three original textbooks (Basic Knowledge, Beginner English Conversation, and Intermediate English Conversation) and a communication sheet in eight languages will be distributed free of charge to all training participants. We hope you will make use of these materials when accepting foreign tourists and providing tourist information in the future.
