Nagato Tourism Convention Association
Nagato City exhibited at the Haneda Smart City EXPO 2021 held at Haneda Innovation City for three days from November 5 (Fri.) to 7 (Sun.).
The weather remained fine throughout the event, and the products we prepared were almost sold out. Especially popular were products using Nagato Yuzukichi, Yamaguchi Prefecture's original citrus fruit.
Many people responded to the photo of Motonosumi Shrine at the booth, saying, "I've been here before. It was so beautiful," said one person who had actually traveled to Nagato City, while another said, "I have always wanted to visit here, but haven't made it yet," and some people knew of Nagato City because of the shrine.
In addition, "Marche eco-bags" printed with photographs by photographer Shiori Iwakura were distributed to those who purchased products and filled out a questionnaire. The bags were so well received that they were all distributed during the event.
Many people visited the booths throughout the three days of the event, and it was an opportunity for visitors to get a chance to pick up the products and learn about the city's tourist attractions.
There are many more attractions in Nagato City that cannot be introduced in the booth alone. We hope you will include Nagato City in your next travel plans.
