Senza Kitchen receives its 500,000th customer
Roadside Station Senza Kitchen welcomed its first summer.
Many visitors, both sightseers and returning locals, came to Senza Kitchen, and the tourist information center "YUKUTE" once welcomed a record number of 2,000 visitors in a single day.
On August 31 (Friday), 134 days after the grand opening, just after 2:00 p.m., the 500,000th visitor, a milestone, came to the restaurant.
A family from Fukuoka Prefecture was welcomed with applause by Station Manager Yamamoto and Mayor Onishi.
After answering the interview with a smile and breaking the kusudama, they were presented with a bouquet of flowers and specialty products sold at Senza Kitchen. In addition to seafood and mountain products, they were also presented with a "Torie Neko" stuffed animal, which is on sale at the tourist information center, YUKUTE.

On Thursday, August 30, the day before the event, the Nagato Toy Museum of Art, located on the Senza Kitchen site, received 20,000 visitors.
