The members of the "Tawarayama Wisdom Conference" have developed a kaiseki meal called "Hanasato Gozen" that uses many local products. A tasting was held at the Satoyama Station Tawarayama. The menu included a variety of creative dishes unique to Tawarayama, such as "Choshu Dori no Tawaramaki," a Tawarayama specialty: burdock, carrots, and asparagus wrapped in Choshu Dori, and deep-fried Tawarayama vegetables. The participants tasted the fresh ingredients of Tawarayama with their eyes, noses, and palates.
The "Hanasato Gozen" was decided to be prepared as hospitality for the participants of the "Akamaseki Kaido North Road Suji Historic Site Walk in Tawarayama Onsen" scheduled to be held in October, and they hope to develop it into a specialty dish that will communicate Tawarayama in the future.
