A swimming pool using natural river water!
The beautiful Nanae River flows through Tawarayama Onsen, a famous hot spring deep in the mountains.The pool, which uses charcoal-filtered water from the Nanae River that flows right next to it, is open to the public free of charge every year!
After the safety prayer ceremony, the annual sweetfish grabbing contest was held, and the pool was opened without incident!
Unlike the ocean, why not enjoy the cool, clean river water?
