The first day of shooting started at Nagato Yumoto Onsen. The air is clear and the Otosoregawa River that runs through the town sparkles in the winter morning light.
While touring the stepping stones and footbaths of the Onshin River, we will snap a few scenes of the hot spring resort area.
Kamata, Koharu, and JEMMA are good friends in their private lives, and the shoot proceeded with pleasant conversation.
The Nagato Yumoto hot spring resort area is a great place to enjoy eating and walking as well as the scenery. The group took out dorayaki from Akebono Cafe, a cafe stand operated by Hoshino Resort's onsen ryokan "Kai Nagato", and dango from kawara soba noodle shop "Yanagiya". They ate them while taking a breather on the riverbed or on benches.

During the course of the session, we will also intersperse scenes explaining the joys of walking around town shooting and setting up the equipment.
We also stopped by cafe & pottery Oto, a Hagiyaki gallery cafe in the hot spring resort area. We enjoyed viewing the gallery and having tea time.
Incidentally, all three cameras used in this photo shoot project were Nikon "Z f" mirrorless single-lens reflex cameras. This is a popular model that incorporates many of the latest features in a retro design reminiscent of cameras from the film era.

After walking around the hot spring resort town, we will go to Senza Kitchen, a roadside station located in the Senzaki district, about 15 minutes away by car. In addition to shopping at the direct sales shop, visitors will enjoy taking pictures around the facility.
Here, rent an electric tuk-tuk service called "Nagatuk," and three people will get in and head for Qinghai Island.
From the Senzaki area, it is a five-minute drive to Aomi Island. From there, another five minutes' drive brings us to the beach near "Nami no Hashidate.
The photo will be taken in the afternoon sunlight, which is beginning to tilt.
Next, we went to the former Qinghai Island Elementary School building. This is a closed elementary school building that has been used by the "Republic of Qinghai Island" as a base for hands-on experiences and other community activities.
As sunset approaches, we leave Aomi Island and head back to Senzaki. We went to "Sawayaka Beach" to watch the sunset.
The setting sun was hidden by clouds, but the magic hour sky showed a delicate and beautiful gradation.
After dark, we will again enter Nagato Yumoto Onsen and photograph the hot spring resort area with its nighttime lighting.
We also stopped by Ontou, a bathing facility in the center of the hot spring resort, to relax and take pictures.
Thus ended the first day of shooting. It was a day full of content.
The second day starts before dawn. We will aim for sunrise at "Senjojiki" in the Hioki district.
In the dawn light, we will take pictures while walking around the area.
After "Senjidashiki," visit Motonosumi Shrine, one of the most popular tourist spots in Nagato. The shrine offers a spectacular view of 123 torii (shrine gates) lined up against the cliffs jutting out into the Sea of Japan.
We will go around the torii gate and rocky areas around the shrine, experimenting with different locations and angles as we take pictures.
I took the closing comments at the end and all up! Thanks for your hard work.
After the filming, we challenged the 6-meter-high money box, a famous feature of Motonosumi Shrine. Koharu, who used to play basketball in her school days, threw money into the box with beautiful form.
This was our two-day trip to Nagato in winter! The three of us seemed to really enjoy our photo trip while chatting together, and we were able to see many natural smiles on everyone's faces as well as beautiful scenery.
I would like another opportunity to see what it looks like during the warmer months and the flowers and plants.
