We will keep you updated on the status of rice planting and fishing.

The Higashi Ushirobata Rice Terraces in the Yuya district of Nagato City have been selected as one of the "Connecting Terraced Rice Field Heritages" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

Many tourists and photographers visit this spot every year during the season from late May to early June to enjoy the scenery of terraced rice paddies and the Sea of Japan, and to see the fishing fires of squid fishing boats at night at the same time.
