Fukagawa Myoken Minato Festival will be held in 2024 (5/3)

Festival held at the Fukagawa District and Minato Fisheries Cooperative Market!

On May 3 (Friday, national holiday), the "Fukagawa Myoken Minato Festival" will be held in the Fukagawa area, around the Yamaguchi Prefecture Fisheries Cooperative Minato Fish Market. This is an event organized by the local community, and will be crowded with families, with a marché by local restaurants and a hands-on corner for children to enjoy. Other events include a parade of fishing boats with big fishing flags, the "Nagato Sumo Tournament," and the "Mochimaki (rice cake throwing)," which the people of Yamaguchi Prefecture are so excited about, and are sure to be a lot of fun!
