Various events are held
Today (Saturday, April 20, 2024), the Senza Kitchen 6th Anniversary Celebration was held at Senza Kitchen, a roadside station in the Senzaki district. This article reports on the event.
Event
Morning Market & Yuzukichi Sour Tasting
A morning market was held from 9:00 a.m. when the store opened, selling fresh fish and fresh vegetables at more reasonable prices. Many people crowded the market.
From 10:00 a.m., a limited number of 100 cups of special "ara-jiru" was served free of charge.
In addition, a tasting of the new product "Nagato Yuzukichi Sour" was held at a special corner in the direct sales area.
on-stage event
Various events were held on the stage set up on the roadside station grounds to entertain visitors.
Kei Sato, a freelance announcer, will be the guest speaker for the entire stage project.
The first group to make a presentation on stage was the "Misuzu Boys and Girls Choir. The group sang melodies to poems by Misuzu Kaneko, a children's song poet from Senzaki.
The next group to appear on stage was "Misuzu Ondo wo Nurturing Association Aonami". They will perform Japanese drums and "Misuzu Ondo" and the audience will dance together.
This was followed by performances by the Hioki Junior High School Brass Band and the Otsu Ryokuyo High School Brass Band.
Other events included cooking demonstrations and tasting of local foods, a rock-paper-scissors tournament, a taiko drum performance, and a rice cake throwing event.
