On January 12 (Thu), the third session of the "Utaakari Concierge Workshop" was held at the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum.
This is an initiative for the "Onshin River Utaakari 2023" lighting event scheduled to be held in the Nagato Yumoto hot spring resort area from January to February.
This program trains "Utaakari Concierges" who will provide on-site guidance to visitors during the event.
(*) "Utaakari" in 2023 is scheduled to be held from Thursday, January 19 to Sunday, February 19.
About 20 members of the "Nagato Tourism Concierge," who are active in learning about tourism in Nagato and hospitality, gathered for the course.
The lecturer for the class was Ms. Tomoka Uno, curator at the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum. She explained the contents of the special exhibition "Misuzu's Eyes on Poetry," currently being held at the museum, especially the 11 poems featured in the "Onshin River Utaakari" exhibition.

Ms. Uno said, "This special exhibition will allow visitors to take a closer look at the 11 poems featured in "Uta Akari" and experience the "depth" of Ms. Misuzu's work, including her perspective and heart. I hope that many people will visit both the Utaakari and the memorial museum. I hope that many people will visit both the Uta-Akari venue and the memorial museum.
The Uta-Akari Concierge training will be completed this time, and all participants will receive a "Uta-Akari Concierge pin badge" as a certificate of completion.
A guided tour by the Utaakari Concierge will be offered during the "Ontoshin River Utaakari 2023" (*). Reservations are required, so please enjoy "Utaakari" below.
