18,000 Kirishima azaleas in full bloom
On April 29 (Fri., national holiday), "Hioki Azalea Festival in Senjidajiki" will be held in Senjidajiki. This is a festival to enjoy azaleas in Sugemuta Park, located halfway up Senjidajiki. At the top of Senjidajiki, a flea market will be held in addition to stalls selling local specialties and refreshments. Please enjoy shopping and having a picnic while admiring the cute azaleas.
