Play" in Misuzu's poems

The "Misuzu and Playing" exhibition is currently being held at the "Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum" in Senzaki, Nagato City (until Tuesday, August 31). This exhibition introduces "play" in the works of the children's song poet, Misuzu Kaneko, and provides a glimpse into the lives of children in the period in which she lived (late Taisho to early Showa periods). Toys on display include toys such as "ogojiki," "marbles," "origami," and "juni-take," which have been handed down from generation to generation, but are not so familiar today.

A hands-on corner has been set up in this exhibition for visitors to enjoy origami.
