On Thursday, January 31, Atsuhiko Nakata of the comedy duo Oriental Radio visited Roadside Station Senza Kitchen.

Mr. Nakata, who spent the period from 4th grade to 2nd grade in junior high school in Yamaguchi Prefecture, went to Nagato City with a desire to "boost tourism in Yamaguchi Prefecture" as a way to give back to this region. On this day, after visiting Nagato City Hall, he toured Motonosumi Shrine and Nagato Yumoto Hot Springs, arriving at Senza Kitchen, a roadside station, in the evening.

After being welcomed by the staff of the tourist information center "YUKUTE," visitors will sample one of Senzaki's specialties, "Senzaki Kamaboko" (fish cake).

Next, they visited Senzaki Bar, where they asked with great interest about the recommended menus and city products at each restaurant.

Three skewers of freshly grilled Choshu black Kashiwa chicken thighs and three skewers of Choshu chicken tsukune and kawa are served side by side.

Holding an egg with the name of the person who made it, the participants were impressed with the interesting initiative.

Mr. Nakata said he hopes to continue to come to Yamaguchi Prefecture at a pace of about once a month, "especially to cooperate in terms of PR.
