Opened in the Aburaya branch of Yamaguchi Bank
On Monday, July 29, "Dining Bar Zen," a bar where you can enjoy Spanish cuisine, will open in the Aburaya branch of Yamaguchi Bank in Aburaya, Nagato City.
This renewal was realized through a collaboration between Yamaguchi Bank and Hyakuseian, a company that manufactures and sells "Hyakuseian salt" on the Mukozugu Peninsula in the Aburaya region. The space, which combines a bar space and a bank space, creates a stylish atmosphere that overturns the image of a conventional financial institution.
On Monday, July 22, one week before the opening, a pre-opening event was held to which the Yamaguchi Bank, the press, and other interested parties were invited.
In his greeting, Yunyoshi Inoue, president of Hyakuseian, said, "I want to create a place where young people can get together and talk about their daily lives, the future, and the town. I would like to create a place with you all where we can create a whirlpool in this way.
The restaurant has a counter and table seating, and food is delivered through the counter one after another.
Drinks to be enjoyed with the food include Spanish liquor and tomato juice. Among them, "Maou," a Spanish draft beer, is the only place in Yamaguchi Prefecture where you can drink it.
Other tomato juices made with tomatoes selected and grown for the juice and "peasant salt" are rich and melt-in-your-mouth. You can enjoy such a special drink.
One of the themes of the cuisine is "local production for local consumption.
The food used, such as gizzard and turban shell ajillo, homemade sausages and grilled vegetables, are all local products or crops grown at the peasant hermitage.
Accompanying the grilled vegetables are more than 30 varieties of "Hyakusoan Assorted Salts".
The fun part is that you can choose and taste the salt just like you choose the sauce. Organic sweet vegetables and salt are a perfect match.
It is about 20 minutes by car from Motonosumi Shrine and Kakunoshima Ohashi Bridge.
Yamaguchi Bank aims to "promote the charms of the Aburatani area to customers inside and outside the region and to revitalize the region through local production for local consumption" through this store. It is expected to become a place where visitors for sightseeing and local activities can get together and create new exchanges.
30 second walk from JR Hitomaru Station
Dining Bar Zen is located a 30-second walk south of JR Hitomaru Station.
Although the area is far from the city center and access is a concern, even if you have had a few drinks, you can return to Nagato City Station in 20 minutes on the JR San-in Honsen Line. Recommended flights in the evening and at night are marked with an asterisk (★), so please make use of them.
